Integrative psychotherapy, couples work and clinical supervision

Considered therapy for complicated lives.

Integrative psychotherapy for individuals and couples, plus clinical supervision for practitioners. I work in Manchester and online, with people whose circumstances rarely fit a single tidy category.

About the practice

Integrative and relational, shaped by work across private practice, health settings, family services and supervision.

Before training I spent years in demanding commercial roles, which turns out to be more useful than it sounds. I understand what a career that won't let up actually does to someone, and I don't need it explained.

Therapy here is collaborative. We start with an assessment session, then agree what we're doing — whether that's focused short-term work or something longer.

How I work

Structured enough to be useful, flexible enough to follow what's actually there.

  • Assessment first

One session to understand the situation properly before either of us commits to a plan.

  • Trauma-informed

Paced carefully, with attention to what's safe to open and when. Nothing forced.

  • Individuals and couples

Relational work for communication, conflict, separation and the things that are hard to say out loud.

  • Supervision

Clinical supervision for qualified practitioners and trainees, in person or online.

Areas of support

Frequently explored in sessions, though this list is never the whole picture.

  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Workplace pressure and burnout
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Separation and family conflict
  • Identity
  • Confidence
  • Major life transitions
  • Return-to-work support
