How it works
Four steps, about two weeks, and roughly two hours of your time.
The question behind the question is usually not what it costs — it's how much of your life this is going to take up. So here it is, honestly.
01
A conversation
Thirty minutes, no charge, no pitch. What you do, who you help, and what you want the site to do for you.
If it turns out a website isn't the right thing for you right now, I'll say so.
Your time
30 minutes
02
Words and pictures
I send you a short form and a checklist. You send me your words, a photograph, and your qualifications.
If writing about yourself is the bit you've been dreading, I'll write a first draft from our conversation and you edit it until it sounds like you.
Your time
1–2 hours of your time
03
I build it
You get a private link to look at before anything is public. Two rounds of changes are included.
Say what you don't like. It's much easier to change now than later, and I'd rather you were honest.
Your time
30 minutes of review
04
It goes live
I point your domain at it, submit it to Google, and show you how anything you might want to touch works.
Then it's yours.
Your time
30 minutes
Start to live: about two weeks. Most delays are waiting on words and photographs, which is exactly why I offer to write the first draft.
What’s in the £199
Both columns matter.
Anyone can list what’s included. The second column is the one that saves us both an awkward conversation later.
Included
Six pages
Home, About, How I Work, Services & Fees, FAQ and Contact.
A contact form that works
Enquiries land in your inbox with the detail you need to reply.
Right on every screen
Phone, tablet and desktop. Most of your enquiries will be on a phone.
Your professional badges
BACP, NCPS, NCH — whatever you're registered with, shown properly.
Findable on Google
Set up so your name and your town bring up your practice.
Privacy policy and cookie notice
Drafted for a therapy practice, not copied from a shop.
Two rounds of changes
Reviewed on a private link before anything goes public.
A handover, in plain English
Thirty minutes showing you anything you'll ever need to touch.
Not included
Your domain name
Around £12 a year, bought in your name. You own it.
Online booking or payments
Quoted separately, because it needs setting up and testing properly.
Full copywriting
I'll draft from our conversation. A full rewrite is extra.
Photography
A phone camera near a window is genuinely fine.
More than six pages
Quoted individually before any work starts.
Logo design
Not something I do. I can point you at people who do it well.
The six pages
What goes where
This is the shape that works for a private practice. If you need something different we’ll change it — it’s a starting point, not a rule.
01
Home
Who you help, how you work, and how to reach you.
02
About
You. The part that decides whether they call.
03
How I work
Your modality in language a nervous person can follow.
04
Services & fees
What you offer and what it costs. Stated plainly.
05
FAQ
The questions you answer on every first call.
06
Contact
A form, your hours, and what happens next.
Still got a question?
Ask it before you commit to anything. No charge, and if a website isn't the right thing for you right now I'll say so.
