Counsellor Websites

Pricing

Two numbers. No third one arriving later.

One price to build it, one to keep it running. The second is optional, and I'd rather tell you that up front than have you wonder.

The build

£199one-off

A six-page website for your practice, live in about two weeks.

  • Six pages
  • A contact form that works
  • Right on every screen
  • Your professional badges
  • Findable on Google
  • Privacy policy and cookie notice
  • Two rounds of changes
  • A handover, in plain English

Paid in two halves. £99 to start, £100 when you're happy and it goes live.

Keeping it running

£19a month

Hosted, backed up, kept up to date, and changed when you need it.

  • Hosting and the security certificate
  • Software and security updates
  • Daily backups
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Small text and photo changes — up to 30 minutes a month
  • Email or WhatsApp support
  • Cancel any time with 30 days' notice

Optional. Rolling monthly. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Your domain name is separate — around £12 a year. Bought in your name and owned by you. I don't mark it up.

What if I don’t want the monthly plan?

Then don’t take it.

The site is yours either way. I’ll hand you the files and you can host it wherever you like — and I’ll help you move it rather than making it difficult.

The £19 a month exists because most counsellors would rather pay less than a streaming subscription than think about security certificates and backups. It’s a convenience. It isn’t a lock-in, and the £199 isn’t a loss leader designed to get you onto it.

If you need more

Quoted before any work starts

You’ll always see the number before I begin. I don’t send surprise invoices.

  • Extra pages

Beyond the six. Quoted individually, usually a modest fixed price each.

  • Online booking

Or connecting the system you already use — Cliniko, WriteUpp, Halaxy, Acuity.

  • Taking payments

Deposits or session fees online, set up and tested properly.

  • Automations

Intake forms, reminders, follow-ups. The admin that quietly eats your evenings.

  • Copywriting

A full rewrite rather than a first draft, if writing isn't where you want your energy.

  • A rescue job

An existing site that needs sorting rather than replacing. Often cheaper — I'll tell you if it is.

Want to know what yours would cost?

If it's the six-page site, you already do. If it's anything else, one conversation and I'll give you a number.
